MARY WOOTEN - Miss Mary Lois Wooten, age 64, of Columbus, MS, passed away June 26, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Miss Wooten was born December 30, 1947, in Lowndes County, MS, to the late M. J. and Gladys Sides Wooten. She was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County and a homemaker. Surivors include her sisters, Jeannie Wooten of Columbus, MS, and Betty McCormick of Corinth, MS, and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
