SADIE DAILEY Zada Lee "Sadie" Willard Dailey, age 94, of Columbus, MS, passed away June 25, 2014, at Windsor Place. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Rev. Al Hamm officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2014, from 12:00 PM until service time at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mrs. Dailey was born November 22, 1919, in Ardmore, AL, to the late James and Mattie Putman Willard. She was a member of First Assemby of God. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dailey was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. M. C. Dailey and brother, Vernon Willard. Survivors include her son, Winford A. Dailey and his wife Patsy of Columbus, MS, daughter, Sherrill M. Dailey Travis and her husband Stan of Clarksville, TN, grandchildren, Lorri Dailey Hopper and her husband Lee of Columbus, MS, and Randy Dailey and his wife Leigh of Columbus, MS, 6 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Randy Dailey, Jeremy Moody, Jamie Moody, Lee Hopper, Jack Moody, and Ronnie Willard. Honorary pallbearers will be James Smith, Bill Samaris, Robert Ashcraft, Don McCullough, Walter Campbell, and the Sr. Prayer Group of First Assemby of God. Memorials may be made to St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 2201 Old Russellville Pike, Clarksville, TN, 37040.
