DORIS FARRELL - Doris Opal Farrell, age 83, of Columbus, MS, formerly of Fairfield, CA, passed away September 30, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Columbus. The remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be at a later time. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Farrell was born August 29, 1927, in Many, LA, to the late Thomas Bracey and Pinkie Edwards Evans. She worked as a dietician and was a resident of Windsor Place after moving to Columbus from Fairfield, CA. Mrs. Farrell was preceded in death by her husband, Paschal L. Farrell and sons Thomas and Dennis Milner. Survivors include her sons, Gary Milner of West Point, MS, and Randall Milner of Fairfield, CA, and a daughter, Karen Casebeer of Dixon, CA.
