A. B. Foster Aaron Bruce Foster, age 75, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 20, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Arlis Hinton officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 23, 2011, one hour prior to the service at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mr. Foster was born March 12, 1936, in Columbus, MS, to the late Bruce P. Foster and Gladys Davis George. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus and Lowndes County and graduate of New Hope High School. Mr. Foster retired as an airplane and helicopter mechanic from the Columbus Air Force Base and attended Main Street Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Boren Foster of Columbus, MS, and several cousins. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
