ARCHIE GAULT Archie Bluford Gault, Jr., age 75, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 4, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 8, 2011, at 10:00 AM at St. John's Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs, MS. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gault was born October 29, 1935, in Columbus, MS, to the late Archie B. and Eva Pearl Taylor Gault, Sr. He was a graduate of S. D. Lee High School and spent three years in the United States Navy. Mr. Gault met and married Nina Ossipoff on August 18, 1956 while stationed in Kame Seya Japan. He returned to Columbus to attend Mississippi State University where he graduated with a business administration degree in 1962 while working at his father's cafe and rearing two children. Mr. Gault worked for Columbus Warehouse and Storage as a manager, vice president, and then owner until 1995. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nina Ossipoff Gault, sons, Scott Gault of Columbus, MS, Patrick Gault and his wife Kathy of Crestview, FL, and Nick Gault of Ocean Springs, FL, and grandchildren, Nathalie and Nicholas Gault of Ocean Springs, MS.
