PETER SCHLUETER Peter Lawrence Schlueter, age 65, of Apex, NC, passed away October 17, 2011, at his residence. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, November 4, 2011, at 4:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Sandra DePriest officiating and Gunter & Peel Funeral Home directing. Mr. Schlueter was born August 13, 1946, in Ames, IA, to the late Glen Robert and Mary Ferguson Schlueter. He was a graduate of Florida State University and worked for many years as a scheduler for Truss Builders of Apex, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Jeff Orr. Survivors include his sister, Gay Orr and her husband Gordon of Columbus, MS, nephews, David Orr and his wife Laura of Madison, MS, and Andrew Orr and his wife Angela of St. Petersburg, FL, great niece, Emma Orr of Madison, MS, and great nephew, Andrew Orr, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL. Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency, 12 River Bend Place, Flowood, MS, 39232.
