Bobby Eugene Marlowe, age 76, of Fayette, AL, passed away August 23, 2014, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date with Gunter & Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Marlowe was born March 30, 1938, in Pickens County, AL, to the late Jesse Murray and Mattie Lou White Marlowe. He worked as a mechanic for Westinghouse and as a machinist for Johnston Tombigbee for many years. Mr. Marlowe enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Margie Ownes Marlowe of Fayette, AL, son, Marty Martlowe and his wife Tracy of Fayette, AL, brother, Jimmie Marlowe and his wife Addie of Aliceville, AL, sister Gloria Sullivan of Jackson, MS, and grandchildren, Hunter Marlowe and Hagen Marlowe. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS, 39213.
