PATSY CARVER Patsy C. Carver age 81 died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Monday September 01, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Bray officiating, burial will follow at Arbor Grove Cemetery, Houston MS. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday August 31, 2014. Mrs. Carver was born on Saturday, September 24, 1932 in Houston, MS to the late Clyde and Dodie Bell Callahan. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a retired 34 year employee of Columbus Air Force Base, where she worked with the Red Cross, but spent most of her career as the base childcare director. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Carver, her father Clyde Callahan and her mothers Dodie Bell Callahan and Fannie Reed Callahan. Survivors include: Three Daughters: Denise Carver, Columbus, MS Cindy Sanford (George), Flowood, MS Dawn Hays (Travis), Fort Smith, AR One Son: Jeff Carver (Angie), Steens, MS Two Sisters: Zette Terry, Houston, TX Liz Cole (Max), Brandon, MS 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren Serving as pallbearers will be: Jerry Shelton, Justin Leonard, Keifer Carver, Greg Mullins, Reggie Callahan, John Callahan, Jr.
