William M. (Bill) Davis age 79, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, September 21, 2014, surrounded by family and friends. Services will be held Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Blaylock officiating, burial will follow at Rowan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. For three years, he courageously battled cancer (Multiple Myeloma). He is survived by a sister, Minnie Wilson, one son, Darrell Davis, and four daughters, Brenda Davis, Alice Sexton, Sonia Davis, and Rebecca Dorman. 15 Grandchildren; Tony Jr., Daniel, and Jeanette Cardenas, Tosha Nelms, Brittney Klipstine, Matt Davis, Shane and Bart Sexton, Ginger Smith, Aaron Akers, Brenda Lozano, Christopher Soliz, Amy Spraberry, Wyman Jr. and Travis Dorman, and 31 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Era Davis, his son, J.D. Davis, and the mother of his children Martha Davis Spoon. Pallbearers will be Shane Sexton, Daniel Cardenas, Randall Sexton, Brian Spraberry, Aaron Akers, and Wyman Dorman, Jr.
