Mary Wells Graves, age 97, died Wednesday, October 01, 2014 at her residence in Columbus. Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 05, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Covenant United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Thomas and Dr. Jonathan Speegle officiating. Mrs. Graves was born on Saturday, August 18, 1917 in Kilmichael, MS to the late Fred James Dunning, Sr. and Eva Ingram Dunning. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, a retired legal secretary, and caregiver to the elderly. She was a lady who always put others before herself, from childhood until her health declined a few years ago. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Francis Hutchinson, her first husband Thomas K. Wells, and her second husband Raymond Graves. Survivors include two grandsons Tom Brown, Columbus, MS and Robert Beard Brown, Jr. (Karen), St. Petersburg, FL. Memorials may be made to Covenant United Methodist Church , P.O.
