MILDRED NOLAND Mildred Dale Ellis Noland, age 86, died Wednesday, December 03, 2014 at her residence in Steens. Services will be held Saturday, December 06, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Noland was born on Saturday, March 10, 1928 in West Point, MS to the late Andy Clarence and Coy Tribble Ellis. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus, and was retired from the Mississippi Department of Human Services after 27 years as a Public Assistance Supervisor. She attended MSCW, (now MUW). Survivors include: Her husband of 67 years: Riley (Robert) Noland, Steens MS Three Daughters: Susan Boone, Tupelo, MS Patricia Crouse (Butch), Columbus, MS Marilyn Pack (Nate), Columbus, MS Five Grandchildren: Stephen Deaton Gannaway, Jr. (Kathy) Caroline Gannaway Anderson (Steve) Heather Gannaway Alexander (Chris) Robert Nathan Pack (Christin) Andrew David Pack (Clara Ann) 7 Great Grandchildren Family members will serve as pallbearers Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Staff of Community Hospice, Dr. Brett Brown, and Dr. Michael Boland Her family and friends were her life, She was a wonderful cook, and shared with all.
