Joe Steven Combest, age 53, of Columbus, MS, passed away December 12, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. There will be no services at this time. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Combest was born in IL, to the late Ivan Russell and Louise Wells Combest. He worked for a number of years as a computer programmer. Mr. Combest was a veteran of Desert Storm serving in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Louise Beauvais of Lafayette, LA, sisters Becky Gilbert of OK, and Lydia Farcas of OH, and grandchildren Gabriel Beauvais and Alexander Beauvais of Lafayette, LA. Memorials may be made to the Columbus Lowndes Humane Society, P.O. Box 85, Columbus, MS, 39703.
