C.V. NORTHINGTON C.V. Northington, age 80 died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at his residence in Caledonia. Services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jamie Turner and Bro. Armon McDill officiating, burial will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Monday December 22, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. C.V. was born on Friday, June 22, 1934 in Hamilton, MS to the late Roy and Avaline Brown Northington. He was a member of Fernbank Baptist Church, and the Kennedy, AL Masonic Lodge. He was a retired welder at Walker Manufacturing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Fortner Northington, one daughter, Donna Joyce Northington, and his grandson, Tom McReynolds. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Kathy McReynolds, Millport, AL Jeannie Hankins, Millport, AL One Son: Thomas Northington, Panama City Beach, FL Two Sisters: Mavis Wakefield, Kenosha, WI Madene Mace, Neosho, MO 6 Grandchildren, and several Great Grandchildren The Pallbearers will be: Walt Willis, Wayne Duncan, Jimmy Ray Fortner, Brad Fortner, Bryan Fortner, Hoot West, and Warren Pounders The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Doc Perkins, Dr. Ray Beasley, Rex Hollis, Tonya Armstrong, Vickie Thomas, Staff of Southern Care Hospice, and the Honor Guard of the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department.
