MURLA RICHARDS Murla Estelle Richards age 95 died Monday, December 29, 2014 at Trinity Healthcare Center. Services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luke Lawson and Rev. Jearl Hunley officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to service. Mrs. Richards was born on Wednesday, May 21, 1919 in Carbon Hill, AL to the late W.A. and Susan Ella Johnston Studdard. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 60 years, and a homemaker. Mrs. Richards lived and enjoyed her life to the fullest. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Richards, Sr., sister, Verla Welch, brothers, Joe, Charles, Clyde, and Vernon Studdard, granddaughter, Catherine Richards, and her son-in-law, Wesley Brandon. Survivors include: One Daughter: Donna Richards BrandonWade (Sam), Columbus, MS Two Sons: Guy Richards, Jr., Columbus, MS Ted Richards (Donna), Columbus, MS One Sister: Martha Sue Kinard, Columbus, MS One Brother: Wayne Studdard, Columbus, MS 16 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren The Pallbearers will be: Guy Richards, III, Justin Westover, Shane Richards, Clint Richards, Lee Richards, and Greg Dillard The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Great Grandchildren, Jack Richards, Blake Dillard, Matthew Richards, Brandon Westover, Heath Westover, and the Staff of Trinity Healthcare In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Youth Group 2698 Ridge Road Columbus MS 39705
