Dorothy Estelle Blake, age 84, of Titusville, FL, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away January 18, 2015, at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL. Graveside services will be Friday, January 23, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Shelby Hazard officiating. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Blake was born March 9, 1930, in Oak Grove, MS, to the late William Henry and Ludie Brown Hodge. She enjoyed being a wife and mother and also enjoyed crocheting. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blake was preceded in death by her first husband, William E. Rector, and second husband, William Ed Blake. Survivors include her sons, Steven Rector, Dennis Rector and his wife Betty and Paul Rector, all of Michigan City, IN, daughters, Judy Vergin of Orlando, FL, and Linda Frier of Titusville, FL, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
