Richard Wayne Robinson, age 68, of Columbus, MS, passed away February 17, 2015, at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jammie Turner officiating. Mr. Robinson was born October 18, 1946, in Meridian, MS, to the late Raymond Ray and Berta Mae Williams Robinson. He was a graduate of S. D. Lee High School. Mr. Robinson was a veteran of Vietnam and was retired from the United States Navy after 22 years of service. He then worked and retired from the United States Postal Service. Survivors include his wife Joan Loman Robinson of Columbus, MS, daughter, Amy Parodi and her husband Paola of Genova, Italy, sons, Jacky Ray Robinson and his wife Loan of San Diego, CA, and Richard Wayne Robinson, II, and his wife Alexis of San Diego, CA, brother, Ken Robinson and his wife Margaret of Columbus, MS, sister, Sherry Chappell and her husband Mike of Tupelo, MS, brother, Tom Riley and his wife Sheri of Centerville, UT, sister, Jean Newman and her husband James of Ft. Collins, CO, and grandchildren, Karen Robinson, Ben Robinson, Laura Parodi, and Serena Robinson. Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
