MAUDELLE CURRY Maudelle Honey Curry age 101 died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Windsor Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Columbus. Services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Gillion officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home, and again on Wednesday one hour prior to service. A graveside service will be held Thursday March 19, 2015 at Christ Cemetery in Bastrop, LA. Mrs. Curry was born on Wednesday, May 21, 1913 in Crossett, AR to the late John Lewis and Ida Belle Orr Honey. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and retired from various jobs over her lifetime. She was a member of the local chapter of the Eastern Star, the Friendship Club of Columbus, and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She enjoyed ceramics, flower gardening, crafts, and quilting.
