BARBARA HUMBERS Barbara Anita Humbers age 79 died Tuesday, April 07, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Harding and Rev. Milton Spotts officiating, burial will follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Saturday from noon until service time. Barbara was born on Wednesday, June 05, 1935 in Knobel, AR to the late Willie Lawson and Sadie Audie French Russell. She married Fred Humbers on December 24, 1953, they continued their life together for 51 years until his death in 2005. She worked for, and retired from McCoy Glenn Manufacturing from 1955 until it closed. She enjoyed sports of all kind, especially watching her children and grandchildren play ball. She also loved to sew and crochet. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters, Genieve Adams, and Sharon Snowden, and her brothers Charles and Jimmy Ray Russell. Survivors include: One Daughter: Charlotte Cantrell, Caledonia, MS Two Sons: Frederick "Freddie" Humbers , Amory, MS Jason "Jake" Humbers (Carolyn), Caledonia, MS One Sister: Jane Russell, Kansas City, MO Six Grandchildren Larry Cantrell (Sirena) Christy Batts (Dwayne) Mandy Humbers Cierra Peoples (Lawrence) Jaquila Staples (Mario) Jacob Humbers 5 Great Grandchildren A host of nieces and nephews The Pallbearers will be: Charles Ray Hall, Larry Hall, Trampas Criddle, Joey Gardner, Lance Clardy, Willie Snowden She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother, and a family oriented person. She would do anything for anyone and her favorite saying was "everything has a bright side" .
