Cydney Rubin Hudson, age 64, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Noland Health Services in Tuscaloosa AL. Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Columbus MS. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Mrs. Hudson was born on Wednesday, June 21, 1950 in Columbus, MS to the late Sidney and Annie Laura Rubin. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she belonged to The Joy Sunday School Class. Cydney was retired as an LPN from Baptist Memorial Hospital. She loved flower gardening, watching the hummingbirds and enjoyed swimming. She loved her family and her little dog Abby. She is survived by her sons, Michael Shawn Hudson (Christy) of Columbus, MS; Chris Hudson (Chrissy) of Baldwyn, MS; brother, Tony Rubin (Betty) of Hartselle, AL; grandchildren, Shawn Patrick Hudson, Misti Hudson, Joe Hudson, John Hudson, Summer Hudson and Gracelynn Hudson; two great grandchildren, Alex Hudson and Opie Hudson. Pallbearers will be David Honeycutt, James Camp, Jimmy Cole, Tommy McCullough, Buddy McCullough, Brian McCullough, Gary Smith and Don Hudson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Duckworth, Dr. John Whitecar and members of The Joy Sunday School Class.
