Theda Taylor Robertson, age 95, of Lithia Springs, GA, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away April 27, 2015, at Brookdale Assisted Living. Graveside services will be Friday, May 1, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Bill Benson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015, from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mrs. Robertson was born January 4, 1920, in Monroe County, MS, to the late Charles Ambrose and Arcena Alice McWhirter Taylor. She was a graduate of Aberdeen High School and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Robertson retired from Seminole Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leobert Robertson, and granddaughter, Mandy Kerby. Survivors include her sons, Paul T. Robertson and his wife Kathy of Tupelo, MS, and Charles Douglas Robertson and his wife Lee of Irving, TX, daughter, Sandy Vickers and her husband Mike of Douglasville, GA, sister-in-law, Mamie Taylor of Aberdeen, MS, eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family members will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Palmer Home for Children, P.O. Box 746, Columbus, MS, 39703.
