PHILLIP STRICKLAND Phillip Morris "Happy" Strickland age 54 died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at West Point Community Living Center in West Point. Services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Major Eric Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Phillip was born on Friday, September 02, 1960 in Columbus, MS to the late John and Katherine Bradley Strickland. He was a member and soldier of the Salvation Army Church. Phillip was a special person who received the love and care of two families. His Strickland family which included his sister Linda Strickland, his brothers Edward and Johnny, and his Nabors family that took care of him for over 25 years, his mother Ruth Nabors, brothers, Ray and Rayford Nabors of Panama City, FL and Jimmy and Randy Nabors, from Columbus, his sisters, Diane Rast, Rhonda Reyes, from Columbus and Jennifer Nabors Newton, from Panama City FL. He is also survived by his special friends, Alton and Judy Ming, and his church family at the Salvation Army Church.
