MARY RUTH CREWS Mary Ruth Crews age 71 died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at her residence in Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Coleman officiating, burial will follow at Murrah's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Crews was born on Monday, November 29, 1943 in Pickens County, AL to the late Lester Lee and Carrie Lee Lowry Bailey. She attended New Hope school and was a homemaker. She also spent many years in retail sales. She loved, and was loved by her grandkids, and great grandkids. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willie B. Crews, Jr., her sister, Eula Mae Bailey Pugh, her brothers, Ed, Tommy, Gene, and Joe Bailey, her son-in-law, Billy Joe Aldridge, and her great grandson, Brayden Lee Barksdale. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Nina Aldridge, Columbus, MS Tina Sumrall, Gulfport, MS Three Sons: Gary Richardson (Lisa), Columbus, MS Perry Richardson, Columbus, MS Mike Richardson (Mindy), Newport Beach, CA Two Brothers: Roy Lee Bailey, Columbus, MS Murray Bailey, Victoria, TX Step-children: Lisa Jane Crews, Columbus, MS Timothy Crews, (Tammy), Columbus, MS The Pallbearers will be: Greg Bailey, Terry Hope, Jeff Hope, David Crews, George Corbell, and Teddy Strickland The Honorary Pallbearers will be: William Yaw, Marty Strickland, and Timothy Crews.
