CLYTEE TRAYWICK ABBOTT Clytee Traywick Abbott, age 73 died Monday, June 01, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian MS. Services will be held Thursday, June 04, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Gunter and Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Giles officiating, burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery in Lamar County, AL. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 7 until 9 PM, and again Thursday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Abbott was born on Friday, April 24, 1942 in Vernon, AL to the late James Branyon and Myrtie Belle Lawson Traywick. She was a member of Church of the Way in Meridian and was a retired custodian at the Salvation Army in Columbus. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Abbott, her step-mother Mary Traywick, and her siblings, Bonnie Anderson, L.D. Traywick and Jack Traywick. Survivors include: Son: Joey Traywick and his wife C.J., Meridian, MS Half-Sister: Lela Von Dresek, MO Grand Children: Joey Traywick, II, Amanda Traywick, Chris Chavin, Aaron Jolet, and Tiffany Jolet 7 Great Grandchildren Serving as pallbearers will be: Joey Traywick, II, Randy Boone, Michael Anderson, David Phelps, Daniel Smith, and Richard Boone
