LOVIE WATSON Lovie Lorene Watson age 92 died Friday, June 05, 2015 at Darlington Oaks Nursing Home in Verona. Services will be held Monday, June 08, 2015 at 11:00 AM at New Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Myers, and Rev. Walter Butler officiating, burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Sunday, June 07, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Mrs. Watson was born on Sunday, October 15, 1922 in Winston County, MS to the late Homer Alexander and Annie Mae Woodson Chandler. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Clarence Watson and her infant daughter, Mary Ellen Watson. Survivors include: Two Sons: Nathan Watson (Alice), Caledonia, MS Max Watson, Bartlett, TN 6 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren Serving as pallbearers will be: Christopher Watson, Craig Watson, Rick Conner, Charlie Culpepper, Donald Burns, and Cleveland Lewis
