Zack Alexander McClanahan, age 45, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial service in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Revs. Bo Jeffares and Steven Lassalle officiating. The son of Dr. Jan T. and Sarah Middlebrook McClanahan, Zack was born July 21, 1970 in New Orleans, LA. He worked in the fast food industry for a number of years in New Orleans, but moved after Hurricane Katrina hit the city. He relocated to Kansas City, MO, where he went thru and completed the House of Prayer training program as an Intercessory Missionary. After four and one-half years in Kansas City, he was transferred to Tulsa, OK, where he was involved with the Blue Flame 47 Ministry. Since returning to Columbus, he has attended Hope Community Church. He is survived by his wife Kimberly R. McClanahan, his parents Dr. Jan and Sarah M. McClanahan, all of Columbus, uncles Hal McClanahan (Katherine) of Columbus and Ray McClanahan of New Orleans, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Judy and Roy Johnson of Kenner, LA, brother-in-law Rich Hensarling (Michelle) of Tulsa, OK and sister-in-law Michelle Johnson of Kenner, LA.
