Annie Lucille McDaniel age 85 died Sunday October 11, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. McDaniel was born on Saturday, December 14, 1929 in Lamar County, AL to the late Cecil and Annie Lee Smith McCraw. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, and a retired Commercial Dispatch carrier for 50 years. Mrs. McDaniel was an independent lady who loved her family and children. Other past times included, spending time outdoors, cutting grass and gardening. She was also an animal lover. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Roscoe McDaniel, and her sister Lillie Mae Trimm. Survivors include: Daughter: Pat Bryan (Charlie), Columbus, MS Sisters: Dellie Rae Cantrell, Columbus, MS Dorothy Ledsworth (Jimmy), Columbus, MS Brother: James McCraw, Caledonia, MS And a host of nieces and nephews Serving as pallbearers will be: Jon McCraw, Matt McCraw, Gene Cantrell, Keith Brasswell, Kevin Brasswell, and Paul Trimm Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Bo McCraw, Clyde Cantrell, Mark Cantrell, James Trimm, Larry Priest, Marnie Gill, Baptist Memorial Hospital ER Staff, and Baptist Memorial 3rd Floor Nurses Memorials may be made to: The charity of your choice.
