She went to work as a secretary at the Strategic Air Command base in Columbus while much of the base was still under construction. Frances went to work for Burgin and Gholson Attorneys at Law located on Lawyers Row in Columbus. She was a hard working single parent, dedicated to raising and providing for her daughter and performing her duties as a secretary to the very best of her ability.
