HELLEN CHANDLER
Hellen Kathern Jordan Chandler age 86 died Monday, November 30, 2015 at The Care Center of Aberdeen. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, December 03, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Friendship South Baptist Church Cemetery Vernon, Alabama, with Gordon Bomar and officiating. Mrs. Chandler was born on Tuesday, May 21, 1929 in MS to the late Loyd and Gerthia Pearl Thrasher Collins. She was a retired employee of American Bosch after 34 years of service. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alvie Lee Jordan, her son Donald Loyd Jordan, her great grandson, Landon Jordan, and her step-son Wayne Jordan. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include: Daughter: Opal Holmes (Gordon Bomar), Columbus, MS Sister: Dean White (J.T.), Columbus, MS Grand Children: Cynthia Renee Glenn, A.J. Jordan Great Grandchildren: Tyler Eisner, Ryan Eisner, and Laiken Jordan Step-Daughters: Johnnie Deaton and family, Yazoo City, MS Inez Chandler (Ted) and family, Savannah, TN Faye Jordan and family, Lake Charles, LA Step-Sons: Eli Hugh "Buster" Jordan and family, Yazoo City, MS Hoyte Jordan (Shirley) and family, Amory, MS Family and friends are invited to gather at Mrs. Chandler’s daughter’s residence after the service.
