Nancy Brock Dickerson, age 74, died December 19, 2015 at her residence. Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2015 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Proctor and Rev. Jody Andrews officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 -2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church. Nancy was born March 27, 1941 in Springfield, MO to the late Leroy and Rosalee Turner Brock. She was a business owner in downtown Columbus for many years where her business was the first designated Tourist Information Center, before there was a Columbus Visitors Bureau. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi, Pink Ladies at BMH/GT, Republican Women, Jaycettes and member of the Chamber of Commerce. She was a Swim Team Mom, member of the Tuesday Morning Housewives Bowling League and in 1974 she got her pilot’s license. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm A. Dickerson; her son, Brock Dickerson and her 4 brothers, Steven, Russell, Mike and Karl Brock. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in -law, Abby & Mike Davis, and Heather & Stacy Madison both of Columbus, MS; sister, Phyllis Lewis (Larry) of Collierville, TN; 5 Grandchildren, Scottie Davis, Emma Rose Davis, Blair Madison, Stephanie Madison and Dena Madison. Memorials may be made to the Martha Claire Fitzner Memorial Fund at Heritage Academy; 625 Magnolia Lane; Columbus, MS 39705 or the charity of your choice.
