Mrs. Pickle was born August 20, 1927, in Moorehead, MS, to the late James Austin and Mamie Johnson Ray. She was a graduate of Becker High School in Monroe County, MS. Mrs. Pickle was a member of the former Northside Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed family geneology and quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Pickle, brothers, Alton Ray, Clinton Ray, and Quinton Ray, and sister, Jane Graves.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Darrell and her husband Gerald of Columbus, MS, grandchildren, Chad Darrell and his wife Jennifer of Columbus, MS, Shane Darrell and his wife Kristina of Columbus, MS, Kevin Darrell of Murfreesboro, TN, and Sean Darrell and his wife Christina of Murfreesboro, TN, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
