Mr. Griffin was born July 12, 1942, in Mississippi County, AR, to the late Thomas Edgar and Margaret Duncan Griffin. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in electrical engineering and worked for 17 years with Four County Electric Power Association. Mr. Griffin retired as a contractor and also owned and operated
Antiques Almost Antiques and Junk for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Stone Griffin of Columbus, MS, sons, Lewis Griffin and his wife Mary Beth Read of Petal, MS, Marty Griffin and his wife Tara Pace of Jacksonville, FL, and Byron Griffin of Northport, AL, brother, Al Griffin of West Point, MS, sisters, Earline Woods of Hamilton, MS, and Linda Spruill of Hamilton, MS, and grandchildren,
Rachel Claire Griffin, Alaina Read Griffin, Conner Stone Griffin, Mary Linda Griffin, Michah Lee Griffin, and Kylee Grace Griffin.
