Kathryn Wood

Mrs. Kathryn McGee Wood, age 88, of Columbus , died Friday, March 4, 2016 at Trinity Health Care Center. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services were Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery, Vernon , AL with Billy Ferguson leading the service.

The daughter of the late William Jesse and Hattie Glasgow McGee, Mrs. Wood was born June 18, 1927 in Lonoke, AR. She had been a member of the Church of Christ of Columbus for almost sixty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, ten brothers and sisters and her husband, Vivian James “Jimmy” Wood.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law Tony and Ann Wood of Searcy , AR and Don Wood of Covington , LA one brother and sister-in-law Billy and Betty McGee of Vernon , AL and a number of nieces and nephews.
