Beth Gee
October 6, 1947 — March 29, 2016
Mrs. Gee was born October 6, 1947, in Columbus, MS, to the late Dale N. and Willodene Moore McCormick. She worked for over 30 years in the finance business then worked for a number of years for Dr. Michael Duckworth. Mrs.
Gee was an avid tennis player and member of Magnolia Tennis Club. She was a member of Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Pritchard.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Gee of Columbus, MS, sons, Greg Gee of Columbus, MS, and Jody Gee and his wife Betsy of Columbus, MS, sister, Nancy Atkins and her husband Donald of Columbus, MS, sisters-in-law Joan Oswalt and Shirley Butler, grandchildren, Max Gee and Kate Scott Gee, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Oswalt, Mark Oswalt, Keith Oswalt, Michael Butler, Arnie Creekmore, Dale Atkins, Doug Brown, J. D. Kizer, and Gary Franks. Honorary pallbears will be Tracey Duckworth, Dr. Michael Duckworth and staff, Dr. D. F. Sumrall, Nettie Murrah, Tommy Hall, Charlie Studdard, Susan Allen, and former tennis teammates from Magnolia Tennis Club.
