Donna Taylor Evans age 58 died Thursday, May 05, 2016 at her residence in Columbus . Services will be held Saturday, May 07, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Fondren officiating, burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery . Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Donna was born on Thursday, September 19, 1957, in Columbus to the late James Donald Taylor and Bobby Sue Shepherd Fowler. She was a member of Steens First Baptist Church most of her life. When she was unable to attend church, she enjoyed watching the Sunday morning service given by Dr. Shawn Parker. Donna was a homemaker and a graduate of Caledonia High School . Her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Alma Taylor.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Roscoe Shepherd, Mike Shepherd, Ricky Shepherd, Matthew Taylor, Joshua Scott, and Marshall Cooke
