Annie Ferguson
October 26, 1927 — May 10, 2016
2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. A graveside memorial service will be
held Friday, May 13, 2016 , at 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Steens, MS,
with Rev. Bob Wilbur officiating. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.
Mrs. Ferguson was born October 26, 1927, in Columbus, MS, to the late
John Rigg and Chebie Harris Vaughn. She was a graduate of Mississippi
University for Women and retired as a 4th grade teacher from Franklin
Academy after many years. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and in addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband, James Lloyd Ferguson.
Survivors include her sons, Rigg Ferguson and his wife Jan of Milan,
TN, and Stephen Ferguson and his wife Susan of Atlanta, GA, sister, Martha Jordan of Greenwood, MS, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
