Jeanne Claire Smith
January 18, 1929 — May 29, 2016
Mrs. Smith was born January 18, 1929, in Memphis, TN, to the late Campbell and Zelma Bell Tindall. She was a graduate of Hollandale High School and Mississippi University for Women. Mrs. Smith was a retired teacher and taught at Brandon Elementary for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Bryant Smith, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicki Smith Harmon and her husband Jerry of New Albany, MS, and Anne Smith Baker and her husband Pat of Charleston, MS, grandchildren, Jay Baker and his wife Rebecca of Rogers, AR, Alison Felsher and her husband John of Biloxi, MS, and Stacy Seago and her husband David of Jackson, MS, and great grandchildren, Bryant Seago, Mary Grace Seago, Ellie Seago, Parker Felsher, and Campbell Claire "C. C." Baker.
Pallbearers will be David Seago, Bryant Seago, Jay Baker, Parker Felsher, Randy McCall, and Sam Bray.
