Dorothy Faye Butler
August 24, 1942 — June 22, 2016
Mrs. Butler was born August 24, 1942, in Lowndes County, MS, to the late Marvin and Frances Ivy Taylor. She owned and operated Bee's Florist for many years and also worked as a counselor for Community Counseling for a number of years. Mrs. Butler was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Butler, sons, Dwayne Bowen and Bobby Bowen, and granddaughter, Kassandra
Fowler.
Survivors include her daughters, Lynda Wilder and her husband Gerald of Caledonia, MS, Sandra Atkins of Caledonia, MS, and Brenda Mae Golden and her husband Tim of Aberdeen, MS, brothers, Marvin Taylor, Royce Taylor, Joel Taylor, Paul Taylor, and Jack Adams, sisters, Charlotte Ivy and Wanda Fuerst, grandchildren, Chuck Baldwin, Chris Baldwin, Tiffany Seaton, Cale Gustavsen, and Vincent Gustavsen, and 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Baldwin, Chris Baldwin, Cale Gustavsen, Vince Gustavsen, Tim Golden, Gerald Wilder, and Charlie Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Baptist Memorial Hospital 3rd floor nurses, hospice staff, and doctors.
