JIMMY HEMPHILL

Jimmy Douglas Hemphill age 73 died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at his residence in Columbus . Services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Don Cole officiating; burial will follow at Kennedy City Cemetery , Kennedy AL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mr. Hemphill was born on Thursday, July 09, 1942 in AL to the late Thomas Hemphill, Sr., and the late Ruth Beck Wharton. He was a retired employee of General Tire. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sybil Hemphill, his brother, Thomas Hemphill, Jr., and his step-father, Bartow Wharton.
