Juanita Cecille Ellis
October 2, 1922 — July 9, 2016
Mrs. Ellis was born October 2, 1922, in Meridian, MS, to the late Joseph and Sallie Virginia Edwards Harrison. She worked at various places including the Garment Plant, Helen's Dairy Dip, Chicken Take, Ellis Woodworks, Cloth House, and K-Mart. Mrs. Ellis was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Gilliam and Martin Ellis, brothers, Donald Harrison, Cecil Harrison, and Jesse Harrison, and sister, Willie Mae Warwick.
Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Fulgham and her husband Steve of Maben, MS, and Ginger Lavender and her husband Jim of Kalaheo, HI, son, Clayton Gilliam and his wife Kim of Danville, KY, sister, Frances Timmons of Fernbank, AL, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wiegel, Shane Bennett, Greg Fulgham, Gabe Fulgham, Brandon Dewberry, and Wayne Ellis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paxton Bennett, Jake Fulgham, Sawyer Bennett, Manly Bryant, Tony Bryant, Chris Strawbridge, Lee Lavender, Clay Gilliam, and Tommy Gilliam.
