AUBREY C. GIBSON

Aubrey Carroll Gibson, 47, passed away at his home in Starkville on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Mr. Gibson was a bi-vocational pastor and a floral designer. Mr. Gibson was recently diagnosed with leukemia and underwent chemotherapy and at his last blood test was cancer free. He was the pastor of Mt. Pisgah Freewill Baptist in Lamar County, Alabama. Mr. Gibson was born May 3, 1969 in Columbus , MS to Carroll "Hoot" and Joyce Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Kristy Moore Gibson of Starkville, MS; his parents, Carroll and Joyce Gibson of Vernon, AL; a sister, Tina (Paul) Hopper of Vernon, AL; two sons: Andrew Gibson of TN and Jonathon Moore of Starkville, MS; one daughter, Kathryn Moore of Bay Springs, MS; one niece, Christina (Jeff) Wallace of Tuscaloosa, AL and one nephew, Joe Paul Hopper of Vernon, AL. Memorial services will be held Friday July 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Freewill Baptist Church in Lamar County, Alabama, with Bro. Max Bobbitt officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to:
