Mildred Lindsay Forbey age 82, died Friday, September 23, 2016 at Santuary Hospice in Tupelo , MS . Services for Mrs. Forbey will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 26, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Gainer officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus , MS . Visitation will be 10:00 -11:00 AM Monday, September 26, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Forbey was born September 11, 1934 in Merigold , MS to the late Roscoe and Elma Horne Hollis. She retired from 1st Columbus National Bank as Sr. Vice President with 27 Years of service. She and her late husband owned and operated the Cabana Package Store. Mrs. Forbey was a member of Friendship Baptist Church . She was preceded in death by her parents, her lst husband, Warren Lindsay; second husband, Major Fred Forbey; brother, Chester Hollis; sisters, Jewell Davis and Naomi Lawson.

She is survived by her son, Cecil Lindsay (Marilyn) of Columbus , MS ; her daughter, Becky Livingston (Ernest) of Columbus , MS ; step-daughters, Suzanne Forbey of Columbus , MS and Freddie Forbey of Columbus , MS ; sister, Marie Hollis of Columbus , MS ; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Will Cooper, Gary Hill, Shae Glasgow, Jeff Kimbrell, Kenny Smith and Aaron Hill.
