passed away September 26, 2016, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in
Kosciusko, MS. A private family memorial service will be held at a later
date. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Scott was born May 31, 1929, in El Paso, TX, to the late Lawrence
B. and Mimi Alexander Scott, Sr. He was a veteran of Korea serving in the
United States Navy. Mr. Scott was a retired professor from the University
of Arizona and has been a resident of Columbus, MS, for the past two years.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Almond Scott of Columbus, MS.
