NELLIE WEEKS

Nellie Hall Weeks, age 87, died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital . Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark McNair and Rev. Ron McDougal officiating. Interment to immediately follow at Egger Cemetery . Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Weeks was born April 26, 1929 in Greenwood Springs , MS to the late Charles C. and Louise Bird Hall. She was employed by the Commercial Dispatch for several years, then retired from Office Supply Company after 40 years of service. She was the happiest at home in the pond and riding the roads of the Caledonia area. She loved her church and sharing stories of her great grand kids with her Caledonia Family of Friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Weeks; daughter, Nancy Williford; and her brother, Col. Charles E. Hall U.S. Army Retired.

Survivors include her son and his wife, Clint and Donna Weeks of Columbus, MS; son-in-law, Bob Williford of Columbus , MS ; granddaughter, Sara (Matt) Doss of Madison, MS; grandson, Brad (Andrea) Williford of Canton, MS; great grandchildren, Mason Doss, Weeks Williford and Spencer Williford; sister-in-law and her husband Ann and W. V. West; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Weeks, Don West, Bob Williford, Matt Doss, Bruce Barnett and Frank Thomas.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Doyle Sumrall, Men of Caledonia United Methodist Church and Caledonia Family of Friends and Neighbors.
