Frances Rebecca Gordon Owen age 92, died Monday, October 17, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital , Columbus . Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Quitman , MS , with Tony Fleming officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Owen was born on Wednesday, May 07, 1924 in Detroit , MI to the late Richmond Terrell and Sarah Journikin Gordon. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell I. Owen, her granddaughter, Tammy Lynn Ivey, her grandson David Ivey, and her brothers, Buddy Gordon and Berry T. Gordon.
