ROBERT WILLIAMS

Robert Ray Williams age 66, died Friday, November 04, 2016 at Baptist Memorial, Columbus. Services will be held Sunday, November 06, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Shelton officiating, burial will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery , Vernon AL. Visitation will be held Sunday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born on Wednesday, March 01, 1950 in Vernon , AL to the late Richard Montgomery and Ruby Idel Edgeworth Williams. He attended Lamar County School , and had been employed at Baldor Electric for 43 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and attending Lighthouse Baptist Church . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Godsey and his uncle Revis Shelton.
