Lois Dean Yeatman

Lois Dean Yeatman, age 80, of Columbus , MS , passed away December 5, 2016, at her daughter’s residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at 11:30 AM at Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tim Lee officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Beersheba Cemetery . Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Yeatman was born December 21, 1935, in Lamar County , AL , to the late Ollie and Bessie Eastman Cantrell. She was a licensed cosmetologist, opthamologist assistant for Doctors Boggess and Ulmer, bookkeeper for Lowndes County Radial Tire, sales director at the Holiday Inn, and realtor for McCrary Real Estate. Mrs. Yeatman enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Harry Eugene Yeatman, while he served in the United States Air Force. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a member of Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Yeatman was preceded in death by her brother, Roland Cantrell, and sister, Sondra Tucker.
Survivors include her son, Gerie E. Yeatman of Columbus, MS, daughters, Rhonda Clawson (James) of Columbus, MS, and Cheryl Forrester (Tommy) of Columbus, MS, grandchildren, Kali Harris (Mike), Matthew Forrester, Jacob Forrester (Kylie), Sarah Heberling (Dustin), Lindsey Cosgrove (Joel), and Caleb Nabors, great grandchildren, Cade Harris, Ansley Harris, Hallie Harris, Aubrie Kate Forrester, Bristol Heberling, Brooklyn Forrester, Reid Forrester, Dean Cosgrove, and Ella Cosgrove, sisters-in-law, Peggy Yeatman of Columbus, MS, and Mary Cantrell of Winfield, AL, a host of nieces and nephews, and special pet dog, JoJo.
Pallbearers will be James E. “Bud” Yeatman, Tommy Yeatman, Steve Graham, Lenny Ring, Cade Harris, and Keith McGee.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Studdard, Dr. Cameron Huxford, Bobby Patrick, Wayne Eaves and the Elders of Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
