Cynthia Reynolds Braswell, age 62, of Columbus, died  Friday, January 6, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services, with John Beasley officiating, will be at 11:30 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The daughter of the late  Jessie D. and Bessie Johnson Reynolds, Mrs. Braswell was born June 5, 1954 in Trenton, MI .  She  first  started volunteering at Golden Triangle Regional Medical Center as a Candy Striper.  Then  she was employed by Golden Triangle Regional ( now Baptist Memorial) for twenty years, working as a Paramedic/EMT. She also worked for Lodestar as a secretary. Later she worked as a secretary and Marketing Director for Plantation Pointe Retirement Community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister Debra Reynolds.

She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Kate Braswell, her grandson August Edward Munn, and her brothers and sister-in-law Andrew Vernon and Carolyn Reynolds of Hamilton, MS and Thomas Edwards Reynolds and Danny Johnson , both of Columbus.
