Elaine Mcdill
February 10, 1931 — January 7, 2017
The daughter of the late Paul and Zilla Shelton Wright, Mrs. McDill was born February 10, 1931 in Pickens County, AL . She attended Liberty Assembly of God in Millport, AL. She retired in 1983 from Seminole Manufacturing. She enjoyed being with her family and was as meticulous about keeping a clean house as she was about living a life based on strict morals. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three of her brothers Lauren, Lavert and Charles Wright, her oldest son Kellis Duane McDill and her husband Jessie Homer McDill.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth M. "Beth" and Kenneth N. Gray, Tuscaloosa, AL, her sons and daughter -in-law Nathan Dale and Bobbie McDill of Columbus, MS and David Lauren McDill of Bandera, TX. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Gene and Pat Wright of Brookville, MS and sisters and brother-in-law Faye and Steve Smith and Linda Thompson, all of Decatur, Al, five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Harbin, Chris Miller, Travis Childs, David Bean, Steve Smith and Kenny Wright.
