Mrs. Williams was born on September 08, 1927 in Hernando, MS to the late James Henry and Zula Grizzelle Shipman. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was active for many years and is a an Elder Emeritus.
Emma was a charismtic lady who loved life and showed compassion to all of God’s creatures. She was very inquisitive, bright, and loved conversation. She was happiest chatting with friends in her living room or at dinner parties or working in her flower beds. She loved nature and was an avid bird watcher. She adored her cats, which she treated like children. All who knew her appreciated her positive nature and generosity. She was active in the community serving many non profit organizations including Camp of the Rising Sun, Meals on Wheels, the Library, and the Lee Home. She will be missed by those who love her but know she is in a better place and surrounded by good company.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Trusler Williams, her daughter Rebecca Jo Williams, and her son Benjamin Allen Williams.
