SUE SWAIN

Dorothy Sue Swain age 71, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at her residence in Hamilton MS. Services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Billy Stevens officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Swain was born on Wednesday, May 09, 1945 in Pickens County , AL to the late Odell and Annie Jo Kyles Ponds. She was a member of Hamilton Church of God of Prophecy and a retired caregiver and business owner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry “Rock” Swain, her sisters, Mildred Robinson, Betty Jo Goodman, Peggy Russell, and Barbara Clardy, and her grandparents, Colonel and Bartee Ponds, and Vancie and Clemmie McAdams Kyles.
